Home staging - 4 simple tips

Every homeowner wants to decorate and improve the look of her home just like the Homes found in the site http://nashvillerealestateadviser.com/franklin-tn-real-estate/, that is why there are many of the homeowners who consult and hire home stagers. Home stagers are people who specialize in decorating and designing homes. Homeowners paid them to do the job and in return, they make the home look better than its previous look.

There are actually many ways to improve the look of a home, but in this article, I will be giving you the 4 simple things that you can apply without spending too much money. Plus, these tips don’t include consulting or hiring home stagers if you think that you cannot afford their service which usually cost $100 dollars per hour.

1. Make a balanced space.

It is important that every room in the home appears bigger and to make a room appear bigger, all you have to do is to repaint it with the same paint used in painting the adjacent room.  You can also paint your walls with the same color as your draperies so give the illusion of more space in your kitchen. This tip will have your small kitchen look spacious.

2. Choose your furniture

You wouldn’t want your living room, or any of the rooms in the home to look overcrowded because of too big furniture and appliances; this will make a room appear smaller. What you should do is to buy not too big furniture and build shelves. With shelves, they could add depth to make a room look and feel larger. My tip is to paint the shelves and their backs the same color paint that you used to paint the walls. In doing this, you can create an illusion of depth and space.

3. Upgrade your home

It will be a nice gesture towards the environment of Real Estate in Forest Hills Tennessee if you use eco-friendly materials when you upgrade your home. And not only that, you should know that more buyers are willing to buy a home that is considered green at a higher price.
If you used eco-friendly materials for upgrading your home, this gives buyers the impression that when they live in the home, they don’t have to install Eco friendly materials because the home have them already.

4. Reuse old materials

Find materials in your home which can still be used. Do not throw them away. By salvaging old materials, you get to save money. Just for example, if there’s an old door, clean it, polish it, and repaint it so you don’t have to buy a new one.
