Home staging- tips to decorate the master bedroom

When home staging a Franklin Tennessee Real Estate home, not only the living room, dining room, and the bathroom is needed to be considered. There’s also the master bedroom. In the home staging business, as we work through the outer parts of the house and begin to move towards the inner parts, it may be tempting to start to believe that no one is really going to be looking at these parts as much as the main living room and dining room, but to be honest, this isn’t true. Buyers of Real Estate will look into the living room, dining room, the closets, and even to the bathroom cabinets. There might be some buyers who will open the fridge and everything in the kitchen just to see what they can expect from the things that they might acquire soon when buying the home. In this article, I choose to talk about the master bedroom and how we can decorate it and make it more attractive in order for it to have a greater chance of standing out in the listings. Remember, it may not be said often but the truth is, most buyers get attracted to well-organized master bedrooms. So if you want your client’s home to be sold fast and at a higher price, pay attention to the master bedroom.

Tip #1: master bedroom contents

I want to start with the basic, but important things that must be found in the master bedroom: a nice bed, two night stands, and two lamps with the same design. Everything that is not necessary should be boxed up. Don’t leave anything behind that will be questioned whether it should stay or go such as notebooks, pens, books, bible, drugs, eyeglasses and many others. You should make sure that the table is clean and clear from any extra thing.

Tip #2. Dresser in the room

When putting a dresser in the master bedroom, you have to make sure that there’s enough room for it. If you think there’s no enough room for it, then don’t bring it in. Remember,  the ideal master bedroom is a room where two people should be able to walk all the way around the bed even they are holding hands, reaching the bed without hitting any part of the dresser or any part of the bed. If you don’t have that kind of space, it would be better if you remove the dresser.

Tip #3: No  TV in the room

For modern homes, having a tv in the master bedroom is not anymore in. Also, the same thing goes for gaming materials as they can bring a harsh value to the space. It is very important that you remove tvs and video materials and just boxed them up. Doing this, you can save a lot of space.
